Telephone Call Recording

From the 13th of November 2020 calls to and from the surgery are recorded and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 and the Data Protection Act 2018. Calls are recorded for:

  • Staff Training.
  • Monitoring including in support of our Zero Tolerance policy with regard to unacceptable standards of behaviour.
  • Medic-Legal purposes.
  • Dispute resolution purposes.
  • Audit.

The recorded calls will be stored for a period of 12 months.
