Patient group

We have an active patient participation group at our practice.

Sidmouth patient participation group (PPG) is a group of volunteer patients who work in partnership with Sid Valley Practice. This unique partnership between patients and the practice is essential for high quality and responsive care.

To contact the PPG, please email us on: ppg.sidvalley@gmail.com

A member from the PPG will then contact you.

From the 1st April 2015 it became a requirement in the GP contract for all practices to have a PPG.

Patient engagement facilitates services to take account of the views and experiences of all patients using them.

Current members are: Jan Barrett (Chair) Salma Chowdhury, Mandy Newman, Tim Swarbrick, Rosemary Cutmore, Brian Diffey, Rebecca Selby.

Dr Joe Stych represents the practice.

Applications for new members welcome.

The Patients’ Participation Group and the Sid Valley Practice have worked together to produce a newsletter for our Practice patients. They are only available online at present. However, for future issues we will be expanding the ways in which you can access it.
